Happy surprises can happen anytime.
Very Happy! I found a few videos online last night about how to get out of bed with a very bad back and showed them to dad. He was very excited and we practiced before he went to bed. Naturally, nothing is easy at 87, and having a bad back, bad leg, and bad arm, don't make it any easier, but! - he did have an easier time getting out of bed this morning. Yesterday, really scared him when he couldn't get out of bed, so this is really exciting. Gave Luigi a shower this morning, doing laundry and we are going to the movies and see "Hope Springs" with Tommy Lee Jones and Meryl Streep. It is a beautiful day today.
