One person can make a difference.

Blogger has been giving me and a lot of others an "error message".  Fortunately, someone posted how to revert to the old version of Blogger while they are trying to get this new format bugs worked out.  This morning I received an email from Adsense.  Turns out I have over $2.00 in Adsense.  Only have to earn over $100 to be paid.  lol  Since no one reads my blog, this may take a while.  I just enjoy keeping a small account of what I am doing each day.  So, I do this for myself.  I get too nervous to really write down what I am feeling.  Too vulnerable.  I have recently purchased Journal 5, which is a very private online journal.  Have been enjoying it immensely.  Much more freedom to pour out the truth about myself.  Not sure if it is just on my computer, or "in the cloud" so to speak.  If I lose my computer, is everything lost or can I recapture it from their company.  Not really sure.  A lot has been going on the last couple of days, but nothing that I can write about publicly.  Some of it has been REALLY good though and I can say that.

Dad and I had lunch today with Uncle Joe and Auntie Isabel at El Rancho in Castro Valley.  Delicious.   But we have all decided that we are going to have our family lunches more at fast food restaurants for awhile.  Seems when we spend large amounts of money at restaurants, we often have service that is deeply lacking.  We are going to keep things nice and simple again.

Dad and I are going to the movies this morning to see "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" with Maggie Smith and Judi Dench.  A piece of flooring in our laundry room, which we have to come and go through to get in and out to our carport, has a piece of flooring that has unglued and is popped up a bit.  It is minor, but dad shuffles when he walks and is tripping over it.  Called Ray Martinez and hopefully he can come over soon and fix it. 

Expect good things.

Enjoying training Luigi with tricks.  Need to start putting a little show together for him.  Dad really has a desire to get going on this and it is a good idea.  Had a nice quiet day today.  A little on the cool side.  Comfortable.  Very relaxing.

Kind of a crazy day.  Turns out there was a lot of money still left for me from Scientology from forty years ago.  So today in the mail, I received all of what they are calling The Basics - tons of books and CDs and lectures and such.  I need a whole bookcase to store all of this stuff.  They really know how to overwhelm a person.  Still, it may be fun to go through this stuff.  I remember there use to be a lot of interesting information.  We'll see how this goes.  If they start pressuring me, forget it.

Dad and I are having lunch today with Uncle Joe and Auntie Isabel.  Going to try the little Taqueria next door to The Trend on Whipple where Yumi is now doing Auntie Isabel's hair.  Tonight, dad and I are going to our first Dog Scouts of America meeting in Milpitas.  Went on Amazon and ordered a:

Made my first batch of iced tea that I will hopefully drink two cups, twice a day.  Pu-erh and White tea.  Hopefully, to help me slim down.  Will start it tomorrow morning.  Ordered 11-piece duster set and microfiber cloths from QVC.  Verified that Dog Scouts of America will be having their monthly meeting tomorrow night in Milpitas, Troop 198.   Dad and I are going, but the first meeting we cannot bring Luigi.  Have been trying to teach Luigi "Back" (go backwards) and also to sit on my shoulder.  He just wants to play "Bang" and get his treat.  lol

Dentist appointment to get my teeth cleaned.  After postponing it twice because of that deep chest cough, I am so excited to be going in today.

This morning dad and I had breakfast with Uncle Joe and Auntie Isabel at Country Waffles in Dublin.  Tonight made grilled cheese sandwiches with pam instead of butter.  They came out great.

Dad and I are going to the movies this morning and see "Chimpanzee".
I am drinking two cups of cold water this morning.  Kind of practicing for my tea when it arrives.  I weighed myself last night.  198.  Ugh.  Sure hope the tea works.  At 5' 1" this is so unhealthy.  Just don't want to yoyo weigh up and down.
Scientology called me last night.  They've redone all of the materials in proper order and included films, lectures.  Looks like I may have money on the books that I can use to take some of the online courses.  I love the knowledge and understanding.  Really looking forward to this.  Been working with Luigi a bit teaching him new tricks for the dog show July 21st.  He loves to learn.  He is so much fun.

DRINK TEA AND GET SLIM

Dr. Oz reveals:  Drink Tea and Get Slim

Superblend fat-melting power into one delicious pitcher.  Enjoy two cups with breakfast and two with lunch.

Daily Dose:  Dr. Oz calls for two cups  early in the day.  For maximum potency, bring 16 oz. water to a boil, let sit a minute or two, then steep two tea bags for four minutes.  Enjoy hot, or chill and serve over ice.

Dad went to exercise class this morning.  I went to the movies and saw "Dark Shadows" with Johnny Depp.  I loved it.  I used to LOVE the soap opera Dark Shadows.

Then I went to Dr. Kim, for Acupuncture.  Although, I have stayed healthy these last 5 1/2 years, I have always had this "crap" in my chest, which I can always hear when I cough.  Guess I was hoping to get it out.  Maybe it's just allergies.  It doesn't seem to want to leave.  After I finish this bottle of herb pills that he gave me, which should last about a week, think I'll finish my bottle of "Clear Lungs" and then decide what to do after that.

Had my hair cut and colored at Jim's on Mission Blvd.  Blonde highlights.  Also, bought a box of blonde.  Will probably use in about 4 weeks.

Cousin Debbie brought us such exciting news today.  Her eldest daughter, Cousin Kim and husband Edgar, have Landon 10 and Annie just turned seven this week - are expecting a new baby around January 7th.  Yes, it was a surprise for them also.  Kim is 35 and Edgar 51.  Landon and Annie just shot a commercial in Dublin last week for a commercial for Goldilock Bakery AND they are going to use Annie picture on ALL the posters in ALL the bakeries in both California and Nevada.  What an exciting week they are having.  I am so happy for all of them.  Such a beautiful family.  Loving, warm, kind, caring.  Amazing.

Today dad and I had lunch at McDonalds in Castro Valley with Uncle Joe, Auntie Isabel and Cousin Debbie.  Lots of fun.

We took my car to Jim's Automotive on Mission Blvd. and had an oil change.

Today is a miracle. And so are you!

Went to Comcast office in Union City at Union Landing this morning and picked up my new 3.0 twice as fast internet modem.  I Love It!  Then dad, Luigi and I went to park and played fetch and practiced a few of Luigi's tricks.

Came home and made sausage and eggs.  Tonight watched Disc 1 DVD of Season 1 for The Big Bang Theory.

Dad and I went to Hairtrends on Whipple where Yumi is now cutting hair once every two weeks.  We had lunch with Uncle Joe and Auntie Isabel at Baldies Restaurant on Decoto Road in Union City.

Today I made french toast for the first time!  Turned out pretty good.  I used some stale white bread and some stale raisin bread.  I used eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.  We'll be having this again.  Yum!

BIG day for Luigi.  Today we signed up to do "Tricks" at the Niles Dog Show July 21st.  We also are signing up with Dog Scouts of America Troop 198 in Milpitas.  Lots of Fun to come.

Went to Dr. Daniel Kim, Acupuncture and Herbs Clinic to help clear my chest.  Last week with Dr. Chung Acupuncture cost $110.00.  Today cost only $50.00.  And he takes the Visa Card.  I am very happy and he is a very good doctor.  Will probably follow up with him next week. 

Searched several Mexican and Asian markets today in San Leandro and Hayward and found some good sources of raw meat to feed Luigi.  Did not buy any of it today. 

Every day hold 1,440 moments.

Spent three hours at Uncle Joe and Auntie Isabel's apartment today.  Then we all had lunch at Jim's Country Style Cafe.

Today will bring you a new reason to be happy.

Dad and I went to Lunch with Uncle Joe and Auntie Isabel today at Doug's Restaurant in Castro Valley.

This morning I went in for acupuncture with Dr. Young Chung.  She is in the same building as my dentist, Dr. Wick.  She was very good.  She used needles, massage and herbs to help with my chest cough.  At the end of the visit she said the amount is $110 and she does not accept credit cards.  Of course, that is always a problem with dad.  (And it was - he did not want me to mail her a check).  He did not want me to pay her at all.  But, I did write the check, but, of course, I will not be able to go back to her.  This chest cough usually takes more than one visit, so I may be looking for another acupuncture doctor in the future.  I'll ask first if they accept credit cards.  I'll also ask how much they charge.  She seemed to be a little high cost.

This afternoon, we took dad to see Dr. James Rhee, who took over from Dr. Mirza for dad's back.  He is really terrific.  We give both Dr. Mirza and Dr. Rhee 10's!  He is very helpful and dad was really happy.
